Idaho Springs family fun

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary in Idaho Springs, Colorado w/Gia. We shopped, ate, soaked, played and had a good time together.

Latest news, Gia is 90% potty trained. I say 90% because she really doesn't think she should have to do #2 in the potty, but she does tell us if she has to do #1. We're really excited. I think by the time she's 3, she'll be 100%.

She is officially a big kid...unless she's tired and then she's my baby still. Occassionally, she'll allow us to call her big girl, but not usually. Big kid is the title she prefers and she gets very testy if we attempt to joke with her and call her little girl or baby girl.

Her new favorite things are: OLIVIA (cartoon & books), Hello Kitty, making-up stories, 'reading' books (we read to her and then she repeats what she remembers while turning the pages of the books), tacos, coloring, going to school with her BIG KIDS, skatingboarding w/Dad, and singing & dancing. Again, I can't write or tell you how much fun Gia is and how much happiness she brings to our lives and to everyone she meets. We are so blessed and grateful that she choose us as her parents.

We're planning a trip to see her Great Grandparents in December. She talks about her Grandpa Blaine anytime a plane flies by...she wants to get on that plane to see HER Grandpa Blaine. Once she meets you, she officially owns you.

Next post will be halloween pics - stay tuned for her cool costume she picked-out herself. Dad wanted her to be a jedi, karate kid, vampire (again...).
