Worst blogger ever!

I haven't blogged since October 2008! That is ridiculous because so much has happened & changed since then. . .oh well. Since then, she's experienced her 2nd halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, birthday, valentines day, st. patricks day, easter. She flew on 2 planes (las vegas & san diego), rode a gondola, bus, ferry, many cars, trucks & other various automobiles and made an untold amount of new people fall in love w/her. She is magical. She is growing like crazy and talking even more than her dad, which is scary! She is testing at & above her age for motor skills, language, problem solving, etc and was asked to be a pace-setter at Stride Learning Center. She will start a new school 6/1/09, but luckily her Miss Flo will be going with her!

We just returned from a wonderful vacation in San Diego/Coronado. Our friends Jennie & Chris got married and Giovanna was one of the flower girls! She was gorgeous and shy - as you can see from the pics

Gia @ the wedding reception

Gia's grand entrance at the reception - they announced her before she walked in...she was shy but yet seemed quite happy :)
We stayed at the El Rancho in Coronado, which was 'nice' for the price but not really that clean. Gia fell in love (feeling was mutual) with the manager, Lupe, and called her Grandma and yelled for her every morning. "Where's Lupe", "Good morning Lupe" - Lupe loved her and kissed her everyday and gave her 2 teddy bears. We went to several beaches, the SD zoo, Little Italy (& farmer's market), on a the ferry from Coronado to SD, got a ride from a petty cab, ate tons of food, and had an overall great time. Here are some pics:

Little Italy's farmer's market...dad would not let her run around & get crazy

Fillipi's in Littly Italy...she's throwing a little attitude to the camera

Gia did really well traveling - for the most part.

We went to visit Great Grandma & Grandpa during easter - St. George, UT. Gia loves her Great Grandparents, she loved to fly in the airplane, she was perfect on this trip. She still talks about flying in the plane to go see Grandpa Blaine (sounds like pain).

This weekend she has a huge party at a place called the Painted Pony here, which has a real carousel...so she'll be living it up again!
