We took her to the indian (native american) village and she danced the whole time, she loved the drum beats and the chanting. But when they had everyone get up to dance, she freaked out and did not like the costumed dancers at all.
Gia's been spending the afternoons w/her Nana so dad can work on the backyard. They have loads of fun playing with the cats (Weeble, Leo & Tango), watering, tea parties, etc. Gia & Weeble are the best of friends and have long conversations...Weeble "meow meow", Gia "MEOOOWW, meow"...you get the picture. Here is a pic of Gia with her backpack (tea party set) on her way out...to the backyard, surrounded by the cats.
Latest words: NONONONONONO. Don't yell (while covering her ears). more berry (she loves blackberries). mama gia. cat meow. dog ruff. nana. move. and more that I can't recall. She talks a lot, like her dad.
She also is growing faster than a weed. Her feet grew 1 1/2 sizes, so we had to buy all new shoes. Her clothes are tight and her hats don't fit. She loves to eat...maybe that, mixed with sun, makes for a growing Gia.
She's still beautiful, wonderful, happy and funny. We're truly blessed and thank God each day. She has one more angel now too, Jamie Piper, that we never had the privilege to meet but know she's in a wonderful place with her Grandpa. We pray for Jamie and her family every day and love them very much.
